IT services company CSC has extended its contract with the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) by two years, pushing the value of the contract to an estimated $110 million.
The contract will see CSC continue to provide DIAC with mainframe and project services and application maintenance to DIAC offices in Australia and overseas.
“This contract extension further demonstrates DIAC’s confidence in CSC to continue providing IT services while delivering value for money,” said Bob Correll, DIAC’s CIO and deputy secretary.
CSC has a strong relationship with Australian government agencies and DIAC in particular. The company has worked with DIAC for more than 10 years, and in the past year has signed contracts with the Australian Taxation Office, Centrelink and the Department of Defence.
