Anue Systems is helping drive research through the Industry Partner Program at the University of Melbourne’s Institute for a Broadband-Enabled Society (IBES).
Anue is providing IBES with a network emulator that enables researchers to test software and services in an environment that reflects real-world conditions. The network emulator is a key tool in testing and developing broadband-enabled applications, as it allows them to face the same conditions that are found on networks such as the Australian Government’s National Broadband Network.
Laureate Professor Rod Tucker, Director of IBES, said, “The Anue equipment complements existing test-bed infrastructure allowing researchers to develop and test applications under comparable conditions found on larger networks.”
