Agilent's J6900A triple play analyser is based on the successful Agilent DNA (distributed network analyser) platform and is the latest addition to the company's solutions for triple play analysis. It provides accurate measurements of VoIP, IPTV and VoD quality of experience as well as channel zapping analysis.
The triple play analyser provides complete in-service analysis and troubleshooting tools for network equipment manufacturers and communication service providers.
Measurements provided by the analyser include:
- Extensive IPTV, VoD, VoIP and data analysis in a single solution;
- In-depth signalling and media analysis for IPTV, VoD and VoIP;
- Passive analysis and troubleshooting of user traffic in real time;
- Analysis of channel zapping latency and VoD command response times;
- Video and voice MOS, QoE with transmission layer analysis, including RFC4445 - MDI (media delivery index) and ETSI TR101-290 analysis; and,
- IPTV channels, VoD programs and voice calls statistics.
By providing a single instrument for all types of services, with drill-down capabilities to the root cause of problems, efficiency is increased with only one user interface to learn and a consistent troubleshooting methodology. In addition, the analyser is coupled with the extensive data analysis of the Agilent distributed network analyser platform.
The J6900A addresses numerous issues related to network interoperability, voice and video media transport, service delivery, QoE, and IP network performance in a single comprehensive tool without the need for expertise or programming. It provides the essential measurements and key performance indicators that enable engineers and technicians to quickly and proactively identify customer problems, empowering faster, less expensive and higher quality triple play deployments and networks.
