The EOC-3220 series of wireless outdoor bridges/access points/wireless distribution systems operate in the 2.4 GHz frequency spectrum and support the 802.11b (11 Mbps) and 802.11g (54 Mbps) wireless standards.
The devices are IP67 compliant and feature a casing that provides weather protection, allowing them to be used outdoors.
Security features include a MAC address filtering and support for 64/128 bit WEP and WPA data encryption. An IEEE802.1x authenticator/RADIUS client is also included for situations where an access point needs to be operated in a restricted access network, such as a closed access point.
