Servers, routers, and other electronic equipment sometimes 'lock-up', often requiring a service call just to perform a simple reboot operation. The IPS Series Internet Power Switches give you the ability to perform this function remotely from any location.

The IPS-400-CE, IPS-800-CE and the IPS-1600-CE provide 4, 8 and 16 power outlets respectively. The IPS-400-CE provides a single 10 Amp power circuit while the IPS-800-CE and IPS-1600-CE feature dual 10 Amp power circuits. High-current 16 Amp models are also available.

The reboot switches can be accessed via a graphical Web Browser Interface or a Command Line Interface. The Web Browser Interface allows you to point and click to select configuration parameters or initiate switching operations using your TCP/IP network. The Command Line Interface is an ASCII menu system, which allows you to configure and operate the IPS Series via telnet, modem connection or via a terminal program running on a local PC.

The IPS-Series features a dual level password protection system. The System Administrator level allows access to all configuration and switching functions. User level provides access to switching functions only. Each outlet can have a unique User level password, and each user can either be allowed to control all plugs, or be restricted to specific plugs, making the IPS-Series ideal for co-located servers.
