Console port management switches provide secure, in-band and/or out-of-band access to RS232 console ports and maintenance ports on UNIX servers, routers and other network equipment. Administrators can access remote devices in order to change configuration parameters and perform a variety of other administrative functions. Combining console management and power reboot products gives administrators the ability to restart, configure and control remote computer systems.
Access to console port management switches and remote boot devices can be via dial-up modems or wide area networks (WAN) using Telnet or web browsers.
Console management switches are available with from 4 to 32 serial ports. Features include web browser, Telnet, Secure Telnet (SSHv2) or dial-up modem access, any port to any port switching, IP security features, port-specific passwords, SNMP capability and multiple simultaneous inbound sessions.
Reboot switches are available with from 1 to 16 power outlets. Features include: single and dual power circuits, AC or DC switching and dual level password access control.
