The RSM series console port management switches provide secure, in-band and/or out-of-band access to RS232 console ports and maintenance ports on UNIX servers, routers and other network equipment.
System administrators can access remote devices connected to the RSM series console ports via dial-up modems or wide area networks (WANs) using web browser, Telnet or SSHv2 secure connections. Once connected, administrators can change configuration parameters or perform administrative functions.
The RSM series console management switches are available with 8, 16 or 32 serial ports. Features include web browser, Telnet, Secure Telnet (SSHv2) or dial-up modem access, any port to any port switching, IP security features, port-specific passwords, SNMP capability and multiple simultaneous inbound sessions.
240 VAC and 48 VDC powered RSM models are available, making the RSM series suitable for installation in telecommunication racks.
