The AMP NETCONNECT MPO connector system is a complete end-to-end optical fibre solution supporting 10 Gigabit ethernet.
The MPO is a pre-terminated, plug-and-play optical fibre cabling platform designed specifically for data centre and backbone cabling applications.
The MPO system provides high-density connectivity enabling rapid cabling reconfiguration in high-density cabinets, suitable for IT equipment test areas and disaster recovery.
The system includes high core count (12/24/72), small size pre-terminated and tested cable trunks that plug into high density, pre-configured optical fibre cassettes. The connector interface presented to the equipment can be SC, ST, LC, MTRJ.
The cassettes can be loaded into standard enclosures providing density as high as 72 fibres in 1 RU.
