The ProCurve 2510G switch is an easy-to-manage 10/100/1000 ethernet switch. Available in both 24- and 48-port versions, the 2510G has a silent fanless design, and is designed for small offices and noise sensitive environments.
Automatic traffic prioritisation of VoIP traffic is included, as well as full support for the 802.1q and 802.1p standards. Advanced security features include the ability to completely control user access to the network, using 802.1x authentication, MAC address or web-based user authentication.
To reduce running costs, management of the network can be simplified by using the company's virtual stack feature, which allows a single IP address to be used to manage up to 16 ProCurve switches. Sophisticated RMON management reporting is included, making it easy to remotely diagnose networks problems.
