The EXFO PPM-352 pon power meter and FIP-400 fibre inspection probe is a complete kit that is a suitable tool for FTTH/FTTP service activation, troubleshooting and accurate testing.
To address service activation standards, the PPM-352 offers features such as: pass through connection for ONT signal measurement and simultaneous measurement of all PON signals, filtered detectors for individual measurement of each wavelength and upstream burst detection at 1310 nm.
The FIP-400 is used to ensure connectors/adapters are clean and exempt of any defect. It is used with a handheld monitor for easy testing.
Features include:
- PPM-352 has 10 user-definable threshold sets, as well as pass/warning/fail analysis features;
- Display of all PON signals voice, data and video;
- Filtered measurements, providing distinct power value for each signal (1310 nm, 1490 nm and 1550 nm).
When directly used with the FIP-400, the PPM-352 can test and troubleshoot a wide range of PON signals.
