The Narda NBM-550 makes accurate measurements of non-ionising radiation from various transmission facilities, such as towers for general public and occupational exposure.
It can be used to make precise measurements to establish human safety, particularly in workplace environments where high electric field strengths are likely to occur.
The system includes a GPS interface for automatic storage of position data and measurement data.
Features include:
- Non-directional measurement using isotropic probes for applications in the frequency range 3 MHz to 18 GHz;
- Probe interface with automatic detection of probe parameters for simple operation;
- Memory for up to 5000 measurement results;
- Large graphical display;
- Audible warning with programmable alarm threshold.
