Panasonic has introduced two models to its range of Panaboard electronic whiteboards.

The UB-5838C widescreen and the UB-5338C whiteboards incorporate a colour scanning feature to accurately capture information and illustrations.

The key feature is the incorporation of a colour scanner, allowing users to accurately record information where colour is important for understanding, such as graphs, colour-coded information, artwork, design proposals or annotated content.

The data on the board can be scanned in as little as 20 s to a PDF, TIFF or JPEG file and can be transferred to an SD card or USB flash memory device.

A scan can also be saved straight to a computer desktop by connecting the board directly to a PC via a USB cable. Information can also be shared to a network directory or emailed should the attached PC be network connected.

The board has two screens that can be rotated at the touch of a button on the control panel. The boards also feature 1.8-in colour LCD, enabling users to check scanned data immediately, before saving or printing.
