Video graphics and user input are provided by an 8.4” SVGA (800 x 600) TFT LCD with built-in touch screen or optional digitiser and a numeric keypad with programmable function keys.

Input/output and communications include: one RS232 com port, two USB 2.0 ports, one mini-USB port, one RJ45 Gb ethernet port, one RJ11 modem port and onboard 802.11a/g wireless LAN and Bluetooth support.

PCMCIA and CompactFlash card sockets are provided for system expansion and a 9-cell smart lithium-ion high-capacity battery gives up to 6.5 h of battery life.

With support for Windows XP embedded and handwriting recognition, the tablet computers are suitable for applications that require a portable data input device.
