Software AG has announced webMethods 8, the webMethods platform that offers functionality across Enterprise Integration, B2B, Business Process Management, BAM, and SOA Governance (CentraSite).
Users can utilise both open architecture and existing infrastructure investments, reducing the time and cost to improve processes and integrate systems, and enabling end-user productivity through tighter collaboration between IT and the business.
Users can also use webMethods 8 and ARIS products together.
Its CentraSite ActiveSOA integrated business service repository aligns business process management and service-oriented architecture with a single system of record for assets.
It has enhanced business process management, a unified, Eclipse-based design environment and embedded business intelligence to deliver process analytics to knowledge workers. It features enhanced user self-service with user-derived applications and workspace templates, its service virtualisation and policy enforcement creates adaptive systems and it has improved broker scalability with policy-based clustering.
