Powertec Telecommunications has announced its remote 3G faxing solution with the Ericsson W series mobile broadband router across all of Australia’s 3G mobile networks.
While faxing is considered a simple method of transferring information, it remains a critical mode of communication for many offices and sites in remote locations in the construction and mining industries.
In the past, faxing over the 3G networks was considered impossible as the major carriers did not support faxing on their networks. With the preconfigured Ericsson W35 and adapter, faxing over the networks is a cost-effective solution for voice, data and fax.
