The Telstra Elite Mobile Broadband Card is claimed to be the fastest wireless internet device of its type in Australia.

Offering download speeds of up to 8 Mbps in capital cities and selected regional areas, the card is up to twice as fast as Telstra’s previous-generation express card.

It is also Telstra’s first mobile broadband product to connect to four different 3G network bands worldwide, giving users more connectivity options when connecting to mobile networks overseas.

Its small, lightweight design and build make it simple to install and easy to use.

Mobile workers can access their email, the internet and remote office applications and files faster, downloading a 1 MB email attachment in less than 4 s. Enhanced typical upload speeds of 300 Kbps to 3 Mbps in capital cities and selected regional areas make sending large files and connecting to virtual private networks easier and faster.

It provides extensive network coverage with the Telstra Next G network.

The card can connect to the most common 3G network bands: 850, 900, 1900 and 2100 MHz and it can connect to 2G and 2G EDGE networks operating on the 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz bands, allowing wider access to international roaming.

Its bundled adapter allows users to connect the device through a laptop’s Express Card or 34 mm slot and it includes a 1 GB memory card, works with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Apple Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6 systems.
