The Onyx-2122 slim medical panel PC, with Intel Core 2 Duo processors, can simultaneously execute two computing tasks delivering performance improvement when compared to systems running traditional single-core processors.
It features a wide screen 21.6″ LCD housed in a compact chassis. The wide screen display supports full-HD 1920 x 1080 resolution with high 1000:1 contrast and 300 nits luminance. The integration of a high-contrast wide viewing angle LCD makes it suitable for medical imaging applications.
It is supplied with a 1.06 GHz Core 2 Duo ULV processor and can accommodate up to 2 GB DDR SODIMM memory. The panel PC features support for an internal 2.5″ SATA hard disk drive and a range of I/O including a gigabit LAN port, 4x USB 2.0 ports, 1x RS232 COM port, VGA, audio connectors and built-in 2 W speakers.
Optional isolated USB and COM ports and a resistive touch screen are available. Its functionality can be expanded with a mini-PCI add-in card.
It is suitable for surgical, radiology, picture archiving communication systems, lab information systems and electronic medical records retrieval applications. It is also suitable for use in point-of-sale systems, interactive information displays and automation control systems.
