IPL Communications has announced that Mediatrix 4400 VoIP Gateways have been certified as interoperable with Cisco Unified Communications 320 (UC320) Series for small business.
This interoperability means that small businesses using the Cisco UC320 to manage their networking and communications needs will use the Mediatrix 4400 VoIP gateways where PSTN connectivity via BRI ISDN lines is required.
The 320 Series platform enables the user to replace their PBX or key system with a single, combined network solution. Integrated with the UC320 solution, Mediatrix 4400 BRI gateways enable high levels of connectivity and performance.
The 4400 Series Digital VoIP gateways are suitable for enterprises and service providers that want to easily connect ISDN equipment, such as PBXs, through a BRI interface to an IP network or as a gateway to the PSTN. The gateways allow any office to use an existing IP network for lower-cost voice communications.
Available in three models, the Mediatrix 4401, 4402 and 4404 range provides good voice and network functionality, ease of configuration and management and complete security.
