The Amp Netconnect AMP-TWIST-7AS SL Connector technology combines easy installation with the high-density SlimLine (SL) style. The connector has been designed to offer performance above the future upcoming Cat 7A frequency limit of 1000 MHz.

Shielding/screening performance together with quadrant design allows a connector performance tested up to 1500 MHz on all pairs. This bandwidth closes the gap between the connector performance and today's established highest PiMF cable performance resulting in a system operating frequency which is 1.5 times higher than the upcoming Cat. 7A frequency limit.

The connector technology provides extra system bandwidth which enables the reliable function in demanding applications such as CATV (upper frequency requirement of 862 MHz), broadband video and high-speed data distribution.

Additionally, it offers good multimedia capabilities, even when several services are run in one single cable (sheath sharing).

Product features include:

  • Class FA/Category 7A acc. ISO/IEC 11801, 2nd edition, Amendment 1.1;
  • Good multimedia performance for CATV, TriplePlay and Video distribution;
  • Quick termination (2 min) using Tyco's patented AWC-technology;
  • Screen/shield effectiveness due to metal overlap technology (MOT);
  • Spring-loaded 360° screen termination;
  • Integrated strain relief ;
  • Slimline (SL) design for high-density applications;
  • Re-usable;
  • High-density sheath sharing ability;
  • SL termination tool compatible.
