WTI’s NPS series network power switched PDUs are suitable for critical network installations needing remote power control and reboot of 240 VAC equipment.
Users simply connect the power cable of their switches, routers, firewalls or any other network device directly to the power outlets of the NPS and they are ready for complete remote power on, off or reboot.
The series supports a robust selection of monitoring and status alarms including: overtemperature, invalid access, circuit breaker open and lost voltage alarms. The series can completely eliminate equipment downtime by automatically rebooting outlets when a network device ceases responding to ping commands.
System administrators can access the series via a secure web browser, encrypted telnet, directly using the local terminal port or by using a public telephone network via the internal modem.
The series supports advanced security and authentication including: embedded cryptographic module, IP security masks, supervisor level and restricted non-supervisor level user names and passwords.
