The Yamasaki TS21 Fibre Scout helps identify faults and test the length of singlemode fibres. It is dustproof and water resistant and can list up to eight results at once.
It has three functions: automatic power control to automatically test and adjust to the best power level according to the real test environment; automatic pulse width selection to automatically select the most suitable pulse width according to the real test distance; and a built-in 650 nm VFI to assist the user in visual fault identification within 15 km.
