Micro Focus Silk, a set of integrated modules for use with SAP solutions, provides application life cycle support for SAP applications and all current industry requirements for testing.
It assists the software life cycle quality management of SAP implementations, optimising availability, accuracy, performance and scalability, by embedding quality activities. Automated processes cover all aspects from blueprint changes, reflecting changes in requirements, testing and managing incidents. Reports and dashboards provide overall process visibility.
It includes integration with SAP Solution Manager, including integration with eCATT and the SAP NetWeaver technology platform.
The component modules include: SilkCentralTest Manager, for managing the testing process throughout the life cycle phases of an SAP deployment; SilkPerformer 2010, for load and performance testing of SAP solutions (SAP-certified integration with eCATT); SilkTest, for the functional testing of SAP NetWeaver, SAP NetWeaver Portal and SAP GUI; and Silk Integration Hub, for use with SAP Solution Manager.
