The SilkTest 2011 suite of application testing software from Micro Focus includes collaborative test automation features designed to enable business domain experts to collaborate on test automation and drive productivity, reliability and cost savings.
This latest release includes: integration with Rumba to increase the quality of mission-critical applications running on any terminal-based host system; extended Web 2.0 capabilities, with additional support for Silverlight, Adobe Flex and Firefox (stand-alone and embedded applications); cross browser support for IE9 and Firefox 5 and 6 to enable the same test scripts to be used without modification, reducing time and effort; object recognition and synchronisation; and user access compliance to support effective testing in standard user privileges, making it easier to use and easing admin control of the desktop environment.
