RapidConnect pre-terminated cables are now available.
Pre-terminated fibre-optic cables offer plug-and-play installation, low losses (all pre-terminated cables are pre-tested and come with a loss result sheet for each fibre core) and shortened project installation time frames for certified projects.
When there is a limited of time to get an installation up and running, pre-terminated fibre-optic cable can make installation easier. With the option of pre-installed pulling eye kits, users can pull the fibre through the conduit and plug it in.
They are also suitable for when customers have a strict loss budget on a particular project. Pre-terminated fibre-optic cables can be manufactured to meet such specifications and provide low losses, as the connectors are factory polished.
They are available in indoor, outdoor and loose tube varieties. There is also the option of OS1 singlemode, OM1 multimode or OM3 multimode.
