Jim2 version 3.2 Business Engine workflow-based accounting software automates tasks, provides B2B electronic commerce and resources scheduling, offers full stock control with serial number tracking and provides comprehensive reporting.
New features include full email integration, ticketing and help-desk functionality.
Email integration provides help-desk/ticket-style functionality which extends CRM functionality to include service, sales, support, purchasing and accounts. Emails can be related to multiple things at the same time and captured and stored against the transaction.
A job widget has been added to the dashboard and the user interface has been updated to Windows Aero style, making it familiar and easy to use.
The Navigation Tree allows users to multitask (add multiple jobs, view the dashboard, add a CardFile etc) and it recalls a user’s last session when they next log in.
Users can control the amount of stock for a given period, both when it is getting low and when there is too much, supporting timely stock management.
New stock procurement features allow users to exclude stock attributes on procurement when information isn’t required, filter by purchase and/or job date due, exclude package and kits in sales/transfer figures and ignore lead times and reorder quantity when doing transfers. It is now possible to purchase/transfer in sell units and it is no longer possible to order from inactive vendors.
Updates and additions to managed services/MPS projects include: billing periods - bill in weekly or fortnightly cycles; prepaid labour; meter copy kit; and stock macros - prepaid pages and master machines.
Australian small to medium-sized businesses are offered a choice of three tailored packages: Business Engine Premium Edition, Business Engine Managed Services Edition and Business Engine Managed Print Services Edition.
Training is available on a one-on-one basis or group, over the web, phone or in person.
