Smart Vantage is a web-based software application that provides educational and IT administrators with insights into device performance and how, when and in what subject areas smartboard interactive whiteboards and projectors are being used throughout schools and across entire districts or regions, helping them to make informed decisions that will support teaching and learning.
Users can monitor projector lamp life, see how many times an individual smartboard interactive whiteboard has been touched, which applications have been used and which subject areas and grade levels are making the most effective use of the interactive whiteboard.
Smart Vantage software consists of two modules: the Manage and Report module, which manages smartboard interactive whiteboards and projectors; and the Manage, Report and Integrate module, which manages smart products and third-party projectors.
Features include: profile configuration, power management and scheduling - create system power schedules to automatically start systems and activate sleep mode to reduce energy consumption while not in use; projector bulb warning - an email notification indicates when the projector bulb has decreased to a designated level; customised reports - generate customised daily, monthly or annual reports; inventory - use the Manage and Report module to identify and manage smartboard interactive whiteboards and projectors and the Manage, Report and Integrate module to identify smartboard interactive whiteboards that are used in conjunction with third-party projectors and set up automatic monitoring for these third-party projectors.
The Manage and Report module is currently available and the Manage, Report and Integrate module will be released in Q2, 2012.
