KVM Australia has shipped the Adderlink iPEPS (IP Engine per Server), a computer management solution which allows users to remotely access and manage computers via the corporate LAN, VPN or the internet.
The device draws power from a PC via USB or PS2 ports and can be rackmounted to provide each computer with a dedicated KVM over IP engine. It uses adaptive compression algorithms and video processing techniques to allow control over various network bandwidths.
Administrators can transfer files remotely as well as attach a USB storage device to the KVM to allow file transfer from the USB device. AES 128 bit encryption and RSA 2048 bit key authentication are used on the device to secure transmissions.
